FAQ

Answers before you request a quote.

Understand how flight research, written quotes, payment, and booking coordination work.

About the Process

TravelFirst is an independent travel agency for flight research, written quotes, and booking coordination. You submit a request, receive options in writing, and decide whether to authorize a booking.

You submit a travel request → a specialist researches available options → a written quote is provided → you provide written authorization → the ticket is issued through accredited ticketing partners. No payment is collected before you provide written authorization.

Within 24 hours of receiving a complete travel request. If you have not heard from us by then, please check your spam folder or contact us at support@travelfirst.us or +1 (888) 992-4455.

TravelFirst works on a request-and-quote model. You submit your route and preferences, a specialist researches suitable options, and you receive a written quote for review.

TravelFirst provides flight research, written quotes, and booking coordination. Our service is focused on air travel.

About Fees

TravelFirst charges a separate agency fee for flight research, quote preparation, booking coordination, and advisor support. It is always a separate line item, disclosed upfront before you authorize any payment. It is never embedded in the airfare amount.

The agency fee covers flight research and option identification, written quote preparation, booking coordination and ticketing facilitation, and advisor support during the booking process.

No. The agency fee is always a separate line item, never embedded in the airfare amount. You will see both components itemized distinctly in your written quote and authorization document.

Depending on your itinerary, airfare is charged directly by the airline or by an accredited ticketing partner. Your written quote identifies the charging party before you authorize payment.

About Tickets

After you authorize a booking, TravelFirst coordinates ticket issuance through accredited ticketing partners using airline reservation systems.

These are three distinct stages. A quote is an informational document showing available options and pricing. It does not hold a seat. A reservation holds a seat in the airline system. A ticket is the final confirmed travel document that authorizes travel. Your booking is complete only when a ticket has been issued and confirmed in writing.

Via email as an e-ticket confirmation. TravelFirst will send you written confirmation once the ticket has been issued, including your e-ticket number and booking reference.

Yes, and we encourage it. Your e-ticket number enables direct verification with the operating carrier. If you have any difficulty locating your booking, contact us immediately at +1 (888) 992-4455 or support@travelfirst.us.

About Refunds

For bookings made at least 7 days before departure, TravelFirst offers a full refund of airfare and the agency fee when you cancel within 24 hours of booking confirmation. Contact us by phone or email to request the cancellation.

Within TravelFirst's 24-hour cancellation policy: yes, the agency fee is refunded in full. After ticket issuance: the agency fee is non-refundable, unless TravelFirst exercises discretion in exceptional circumstances. That discretion is not a guarantee.

The TravelFirst agency fee remains non-refundable if you cancel directly with the airline. Airfare refunds follow the airline's fare rules for your ticket type. Contact TravelFirst before taking action with the carrier to understand your options.

If TravelFirst is unable to complete your booking after payment has been collected, all charges collected by TravelFirst LLC are refunded in full, including the agency fee.

About Authorization & Payment

Only after you provide written authorization. No charge occurs before you approve the quote. You will receive a written authorization document itemizing all charges, and payment is processed only after you confirm your approval in writing.

No. After you provide written authorization, the amounts in that authorization document cannot increase. If a fare change occurs before your authorization is processed, we will notify you and obtain a new written authorization before proceeding.

The TravelFirst agency fee appears as TRAVELFIRST. The airfare charge appears under the airline or ticketing partner identified in your written authorization.

TravelFirst participates in the ARC Verified Travel Consultant program. Read our Company and Compliance page for information about how we work.
